
It’s more of the same here, another interview conducted by Peter Sanderson in 1982 for the first of Fantagraphics’ X-MEN COMPANION books commemorating the creation of the new series and its meteoric rise to popularity in the early Direct Sales market. This one was a bit more expansive a piece than the last two because it’s subject, Dave Cockrum, had not only been the artist and co-creator of pretty much all of the new characters, but he’d also returned to teh series recently following the departure of his hyper-popular successor John Byrne. When it came to talking about the early days of the All-New, All-Different X-Men, Dave was absolutely a primary source.
