A short post from my old Marvel blog in which I share a holiday card sent to us by Chris Weston, the artist of THE TWELVE.

Not a whole lot of time for posting today, but as we’ve now announced THE TWELVE, the secret project that JMS and Chris Weston have been working on for some time (and from which I’ve been showing off assorted sneak peeks at the artwork), I can finally share with the public the X-Mas card Chris sent out this past holiday season, spotlighting America’s new poster boy of the absurd, the Blue Blade!
Not only is the Blade an actual, genuine, 100% legitimate golden age character (who first appeared in USA Comics #5 in 1942), but he’s also one of the few super heroes of the modern age secure enough in his manliness to wage his war on evil bare-chested and bare-legged!
More later.

Wow… the only Marvel who wear less are Beast and Namor 😀
