
More material from THE X-MEN COMPANION Volume Two, the second of two softcover books devoted to the development and the early days of what had become the most popular feature in the comics world. These two volumes were published in 1982, and so the memories of all involved about the details of their collaboration are fresh, and nobody is yet really trying to jockey for a greater percentage of the credit (or blame) for these assorted stories. It’s thus an excellent resource.


This time out, chronicler Peter Sanderson speaks at length with inker Terry Austin, who had been a consistent part of the creative team for as penciler John Byrne had, coming on board the series with John in issue #108.
