A post from my old Marvel blog about the Baltimore Comic Con. Still a good show.

Got a surprise visit this morning from Frank Cho and Marc Nathan. Frank and Marc were in town making some guest arrangements for the Baltimore Comic Convention, which Marc runs, and Frank stopped by to chat briefly about the secret project he’s working on with Brian Bendis. Ought to be a good book if I can just keep everybody pulling in more or less the same direction. And there should be an announcement about it in San Diego, but here’s a sneak peek at an image that Cho brought over today.
The Baltimore Convention remains one of the most pleasant comic book shows there are, and a convention dedicated almost exclusively to comic books (as opposed to videos or movies or toys or whatnot.) Marc has always been a gracious host, and everybody involved never fails to have a great, relaxed time.
Also heard from Allan Heinberg, who praised this blog as “well-written.” Allan’s standards have clearly fallen off sharply, but the sentiment is appreciated.
More later.
