How can you not want to read this story? What glorious madness!
Beautiful and graphic, the only element I don’t like is the placement of the cover copy. The bit of tombstone makes it hard to read.
Some weird dead space at the upper right, but the starkness and the coloring makes it all work.
For some strange reason, while I was following ACTION COMICS relatively regularly, I wasn’t similarly picking up every issue of SUPERMAN. This latest issue would be my first in months. Beautiful color and composition–and a great idea to put a texture in that area outside of the frame.
Very evocative. That Robin call-out doesn’t help it, though.
Batman has that comic collector jones on this dramatic cover. Look at him sweat!
