So, for Halloween that year, and about this time, I wanted to be the Flash, as should come as no surprise to anybody who’s been reading this page. My ever-accommodating mother undertook the challenge and created for me a homemade Flash costume that she sewed herself. It was an amazing piece of work, and I had it for several years before it finally went the way of all things.
